In The Footprints of Ancients
On the far western edge of the Tidym jungle lies a sizable mountain, rising out of the canopy, and within this mountain is the Dwarven city of Asklar. Asklar, like nearby Sulindal and Kalbat, is one of the few remaining settlements in the area that has been inhabited without a break since the time of the ancients. Asklar is still dwarfed by Sulindal and Kalbat, with perhaps 2000 residents, nearly all Dwarves, but manages to produce a fine amount of trade goods and refined ores for trade via caravans. Despite the trade, few in the region know that Asklar still exists, and even fewer know its location. The city is believed to have vanished long ago, and its residents are responsible for the Dwarven sack of Sulindal, as well as the construction of the Walls of Ragan and the chasm bridge. The workmanship of the Asklar Dwarves is still renowned, despite their falling out with Sulindal, and perceived demise.
